The John E. Marlow Guitar Series, a program of the International Conservatory of Music, will complete its 23rd Season in April 2017. A 24th Season is in the planning stages.

The Beatty Music Scholarship Competition for Classical Guitar celebrated its 11th year in March, 2017.

The Embassy Concert Tours In USA had its second US tour in March 2014, featuring Rupert Boyd, Classical Guitarist from Australia.

The International Conservatory of Music (ICM) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity, and was incorporated in the District of Columbia in 1980 and registered in the State of Maryland in 1995. As of 2015, the ICM is incorporated in the State of Maryland.

Vision: Creating Community Through Music: Drawing people together for entertainment, education, and inspiration.

Mission: Bringing people together to experience classical guitar music from around the world through performances, classes, scholarship competitions and national tours.

The ICM’s programs create community centered around music, enriching the lives of the residents of metropolitan Washington, DC. In the past 36 years, ICM has presented over 150 events, co-sponsoring with universities, embassies, Federal Government agencies, Public School systems, and other community and cultural organizations.
